I am glad River Wranglers is helping others learn about the watershed and the animals that need the water to survive. I enjoyed learning about the Carson River and I am sure the students I was teaching enjoyed it, too.

River Wranglers partners with Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (Project WET), Audubon Society (Flying Wild) and Nevada Department of Wildlife (Project WILD and Aquatic Wild) to present workshops for teachers in the Carson River watershed.
field trips
The Carson River Coalition Education Working Group offers field trips on the Carson River which are supported by River Wranglers and Nevada Division of Environmental Education. Check out www.cwsd.org for details.

teen mentor
Teens, interested in environmental education, have opportunities to work with elementary students in formal and informal settings. Training is required.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING
Teens are needed to work with the Boys and Girls Clubs in the Carson River watershed to teach River Wranglers activities.
Conservation opportunities
Teen volunteers are needed for clean-up, river restoration projects, construction projects tree planting and trail building.
